Youngsters from different European countries took part in an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Towards The Green Goals” which took place in Pavilosta, Latvia between 21 - 30 March, 2023. Project promotes healthy, active, environmentally conscious lifestyles that help the environment and organise green activities. The main focus is improving the environment and raising environmental awareness. The aim of the project is to promote Green Goals idea among youngsters by raising their awareness about different environmental and sustainability aspects.
Objectives of the project:
- Promote various aspects of sustainability among youngsters;
- Raising awareness about sustainable behaviour among youngsters;
- Exchange the best practices, knowledge and experience in environmental protection and sustainability;
- Elaborate new ideas on reducing impact of human activities on environment;
- Promote the Erasmus+ programme.
During the Youth Exchange participants created movies and brochure to promote sustainable lifestyle, and built a copost bin for public use:
