Managing Diversity project that took place in the Netherlands allowed me to broaden my horizon. The project not only provided a well-designed theoretical training on diversity but also provided an excellent opportunity to mingle with different cultures and traditions. So we were able to apply the theoretical training to our everyday lives. Yet, what I mean by theoretical training is not formal, boring university lectures; it involved many fun activities which also helped to internalize the knowledge we acquired. Moreover, meeting people with diverse ethnic, religious, etc. backgrounds helped to change some of my perceptions about the "others". I was also able to discover the hosting country with my new friends. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience for me.
