This youth exchange is designed for participants interested in human rights and in particular illegal immigration, through Media, social media, blogs, active citizenship, and non-formal education. Offering them the opportunities to exchange ideas and points of view, to work together, and to express themselves through different methods. At the end of this learning process, these newly acquired skills will be a basic building block for creating an awareness companion that they will disseminate in their representative communities. All partners we are persuaded that this project will value the work of all those who engage in human projects and activities to work with immigrants, combat racism, xenophobia and discrimination and try to build a society based on multicultural and cultural integration, freedom, equality and fraternity.

I had the chance to participate in The Other Side-SeEU There youth exchange project which took place in Sicily-Agrigento between 13-20 July. We worked on illegal immigration in this project, which brouht together 48 young people and youth leaders from 8 countries. We discussed the situations in different countries together. This project, funded by Erasmus+, gave us the chance to get to know different cultures closely and make friends from different countries. In all the time we spent together, I think we were able to teach each other something. With the different perspectives we brought to each other, we gained an unforgettable experience. Thanks to Erasmus+ and LIDOSKNGO for this great experience.
