About Project
LiterED is a project carried out to develop education policies for dyslexic individuals, to increase their quality of life, to contribute to their self-confident and independent life and to their integration with society.
Project Aims
- To improve their quality of life by developing education policies for individuals with dyslexia, to contribute to their self-confident and independent life and integration with society. To encourage non-governmental organizations working for dyslexia to develop projects in this field and to make them more willing to cooperate in future projects.
- To improve the quality of the community-based services offered to individuals with dyslexia by reviewing the education policies and models and to spread them throughout the country.
- To encourage non-governmental organizations working for dyslexia to develop projects in this field and to make them more willing to cooperate in future projects.
- To raise awareness about dyslexia problems at the social level.
Project Results
- According to the data obtained in the Auto Train Brain application, it increases the reading speed of dyslexic children and reduces the error rates since more than 20 uses on 100 dyslexic subjects. The app supports children with dyslexia with visual and auditory games and feeds back their own brain signals. Also, while those with childhood dyslexia may have fewer problems with reading, they may have the potential for Alzheimer's later in life as immune problems decline in adulthood. For this reason, it is important to develop lifelong continuous education and cognitive capacity.
We had an event where we brought together our KA2 project, LiterED, with the youth at Akdeniz University, where we could exchange information about the definition of dyslexia, the difficult situations of dyslexia individuals in our country and the situations that need improvement, and at the end of the program we measured the permanence of this information exchange in an entertaining way with the Kahoot quiz method. Since this event was made with an interactive presentation method, it had both educational and entertaining content. Therefore, the interest shown by the participants in the program exceeded expectations, and it was an event that we were able to spread the awareness of dyslexia and made us very happy.
With this meeting, we introduced our project, the aim of our project and its areas of influence to young people. In the future, we plan to do more teamwork together and test our knowledge with simple experiments so that we can eventually use our knowledge more efficiently and raise a more informed generation.
As the LİDOSK team, we introduced our LiterED project and its areas of influence to the youth. We also introduced the results we created from the scope of the project by raising awareness on behalf of individuals with dyslexia. We hope that it has been a fruitful step towards raising a more conscious generation.
